This was an intense race. I tried to be careful at the start and lost some spots in the first few turns. I stayed at the back of the front group and I chose not to take too many risks. After some laps there was a big crash right ahead and that made a gap, but I put my head down and caught again the riders that were leading. Bit by bit I overtook the other guys and I was reaching for the Top-5 when I crashed out. I picked up the bike immediately and overtook as many riders as possible, finishing in 15th position.
Overall we have to take the positive from this weekend: we made a step forwards in qualifying, which is what we lacked in previous occasions. We are strong, we will continue to work in this direction to achieve solid results.
