2022 Indonesia Grand Prix, weekend
“This was a complicated weekend. Beside being the first time here at Mandalika, we had to deal with changeable conditions throughout all the sessions. I had two crashes on Saturday, which did not help with my qualifying position. However overall my feeling on the bike was not too bad and today we worked hard to put in the best possible performance. Starting from the back of the grid, the first couple of laps were key to move up. In the end we recovered 16 positions, getting quite close to the top-10. Surely we were hoping to leave Indonesia with a better result, but indeed we still got some points home which are valuable for the Championship”.
